Vehicles of SF
San Francisco has some of the most colorful and unique architecture in the world. On their own, photographs of all the different types of buildings can be interesting. What I find more interesting is how they interact with the different vehicles that sit in front of them on a daily basis. Some of these buildings date back to the 1880’s. Many of the vehicles you see around the city aren’t much older than the 1980’s.
Most of these photos are from my walks around different San Francisco neighborhoods with my dog. He’s old and takes his sweet time, which causes me to be much more observant of my surroundings.
Sunny days are more rare than foggy ones, so when the sun comes out, I make sure to explore the neighborhoods (the foggy days are still good too). All photos are shot on film using a mixture of Kodak film stocks and either 35mm or 645. This is an ongoing series.
